Please join families from around Santa Cruz County as they come together to learn from some prominent activists about their trailblazing work in the community. All welcome!

The first hour of the PFLAG Santa Cruz County (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians & Gays) meeting is dedicated to discussion groups followed by a brief break. The second hour is dedicated to our November program.

About Our Guests:

The Diversity Center of Santa Cruz County will present a panel of 5 trailblazers. These panelists will include 2 lesbians, 2 gay men, and a trans* woman, all of whom were active in the early Gay Pride days in Santa Cruz, during the 70s and early 80s. Come hear their stories. There will be time for questions of course! The panel will be facilitated by Larry Friedman, who was one of the founders of the first Gay Pride in Santa Cruz in 1975. Other panelists will include Marie Henley, Kater Pollock, Patrick Meyer, and Sandy Stone.
