PFLAG Santa Cruz County is proud to announce their April meeting which will feature:
“Creating Families Through Local Adoption & Foster Care”
Tuesday, April 14, 2015
7:00 – 9:00 pm
Peace United Church of Christ
900 High Street, Santa Cruz, 95060
Please join us as we discuss adoption and foster care as a way to create warm and loving families in the LGBTQ Community. There are amazing children of all ages here in Santa Cruz County waiting for a home to call their own. Loving families are particularly needed for sibling groups and school-aged children.
The first hour of the PFLAG Santa Cruz County (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians & Gays) meeting is dedicated to discussion groups followed by a brief break. During the second hour we will hear first-hand stories of adoption and foster care. A representative from Santa Cruz County Family & Children’s Services will also be on hand to talk through the process involved in becoming a foster parent or an adoptive parent.
